While this Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie is full of fresh summer fruits it is the perfect beverage for all year round. This smoothie recipe combines strawberries, pineapple, orange, banana, chia seeds and hemp seeds. These ingredients are blended up with some coconut milk to create a sweet and refreshing summer smoothie.
Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie Ingredients
Fruit: You can use fresh or frozen fruit depending on the season, either will work just fine.
Coconut Milk: Any plant-based milk will work but I recommend Pure Harvest Coco Quench coconut milk as it’s organic and made from a blend of coconut milk and brown rice. If you’re not feeling plant-based milk, this smoothie recipe would also work with coconut water or even some orange juice. If that’s too sweet then filtered water would also be fine.
Protein Powder: The chia seeds and hemp seeds in this smoothie add some extra plant-based protein and healthy fats. You could also add a vegan protein powder to this smoothie to make it a bit more hearty (particularly if you’re consuming this as a meal or post-workout). I use a flavourless protein powder from Amazonia in my smoothies for a little extra protein.
Prepping and Storing
If you don’t have a lot of time during the week, this smoothie is super simple to create for breakfast or a snack. If you’re more into meal prepping on the weekend, you could make a batch and freeze it into smoothie cubes. This makes it even easier to whip up during the week.

Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1 cup pineapple
- 1 orange
- 1 banana
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 cup coconut milk
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and process until smooth.
- Serve as desired!
