If you’re dreaming of warm weather, the beach or a tropical holiday, then this Tropical Smoothie recipe is for you. It’s made from banana, orange, pineapple and mango and is fruity, cool and refreshing. It’s quick and easy to make for breakfast or as a snack.
Tropical Smoothie Ingredients
This smoothie recipe includes banana, orange, pineapple and mango, with added hemp seeds and chia seeds for some extra plant-based protein and healthy fats. Blend these ingredients up with some coconut milk for a fruity and delicious smoothie. While any plant-based milk will work, I recommend Pure Harvest Coco Quench coconut milk as it’s organic and made from a blend of coconut milk and brown rice, and it also works great in this smoothie.
If you’re not feeling plant-based milk, this smoothie recipe would also work with coconut water or orange juice. If that’s too sweet then filtered water would also be fine.
Fresh or frozen mango will work just fine, depending on the season.
You could also add some vegan protein powder to make the smoothie a bit more hearty, especially if you’re having this as a meal or if you’re drinking this post-workout.
If you don’t have a lot of time during the week, this smoothie is super simple to create for breakfast or a snack. However, if you are more into meal prepping on the weekend, you could make a batch and freeze it into smoothie cubes to make it even easier to whip up a quick smoothie during the week.
